Buzena Alkedir is elected as Speaker of the Addis Abeba City Council, replacing Zerfeshiwal Nigussie, who was appointed in Oct. 2020.
In addition to Buzena the Council also elected Faiza Mohammed as Deputy Speaker. Both will serve the Council for the coming 5 years.![Profile picture of Ethiopia]()
